KU Starts Masters in Criminology program 2014

Karachi, University of Karachi has started admission process in the master degree in Criminology. Karachi University has accorded approval of the establishment of Department of Criminology and Prof Dr Fatah Baraft will be appointed as the head of this department. The Vice Chancellor of Karachi University, Dr Muhammad Qaisar told in the presence of Director Administration, Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi that syndicate has also accorded approval for the establishment of the department of criminology. The syllabus at the level of master degree has been complete. This year, the admissions will be awarded to the candidates at the level of master and the admissions for the honor classes will be granted from next year. He said that the syllabus for the honor classes will be completed till next year. On this occasion, Dr Khalid Iraqi told that Criminology was under the department of Sociology and the students, who read Criminology, got the certificate from the Department of Sociology. Now after the establishment, the students will study the criminology and they will get the degree from Criminology department.
