36000 Students Appeared in Medical Colleges Entry Test

Lahore, University of Health Sciences Lahore has conducted the entry test for about 36000 students for granting admission in medical and dental colleges in 20 test centers established in 12 cities of the province. To make the entrance test transparent and vivid, tight security arrangements have been made and other precautionary measures have been adopted. About 24000 girls and 12000 boys participated in the entrance test. All the students reached the entry test centers before 08:00 am and the gates of test centers were closed at 08:00. The test was started at 09:00 am and finished at 12:00 noon. Section 144 was imposed in the premises of entrance test centers. Nobody was allowed to enter the test center and close circuit cameras, mobile phone jammers and walk through gates were also established at the entry test centers.
Entrance Test Centers have been established at Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sargodha, Hassan Abdaal, Gujrat and Gujranwala where thousands of students appeared in the entrance test. The entrance test center of DG Khan was shifted to Muzaffargarh due to flood.
