KPK Government Sets Up School Named after Opener Fakhar Zaman

Peshawar, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will establish a school in the province and it will name after the popular cricketer, Fakhar Zaman, who played the contributory role in the victory of Pakistani cricket team in the final match of Champions Trophy 2017 against India.

The Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw, Atif Khan invited the star batsman in his office and he congratulated him on his exceptional performance in the recent Champions Trophy match and showed the tremendous performance against India. The minister also talked with the star batsman about the education standard in their village and on the request of Zaman and his father, the minister announced for the establishment of the government school in his village and it will name after the star cricketer. The construction of the school will be started after eid and it will be added with advanced facilities.

The star player has shown the superb cricket debut and he made 297 runs in just 4 matches in which one century and two fifties are involved. He played superb inning of 114 runs against India in the final match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and he was declared the man of the match.
