- Free Computer Courses to Women
Islamabad, Federal Government is going to start the free computer courses to the women so that they can strengthen the outreach of the social safety webs for poor and it was the first priority of the government.
The Minister of State for Information Technology inaugurated the computer lab in Women Empowerment Center of Pakistan of Pakistan Bait ul Maal and she said that PBM is the basic segment for the economic raise and social prosperity. Pakistan Bait ul Mall is taking the necessary steps for materializing the commitment of present government to extend maximum support to underprivileged regions of the society. There are about 154 WECs, which are providing services for women empowerment in Pakistan and AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Those centers have been refurbished with start of advanced technologies to meet the challenges of modern world. There are about 11,000 learners, which are enrolled with the centers and approximately 160,000 women have already getting the benefits from them.
