MBBS & BDS Program Admission Eligibility

Lahore, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has issued the new regulations for admission in the government and private medical and dental colleges in the MBBS and BDS classes. PMDC has made it clear that the admissions will not granted to the students, who will pass their A-level exams on the foreign quote across the country.

PMDC has conducted the meeting and it has announced that the aspirants of the A-level will not be eligible to get admission against the foreign quota in the public and private medical colleges. Under the provision of sub regulations (1) and (2), the candidates, who holds permanent international nationality or dual nationality or the overseas Pakistani students, who pass their SSC and HSSC exams or equivalent exams from foreign countries and they have the certificate to attend the previous educational institutes.

Under the provision of 2013 PMDC regulations, the students with the A level qualifications got the admission in the private medical and dental colleges in Pakistan with the two main subjects like chemistry and biology. The official of PMDC said that Pakistani national students, who pass their exams equivalent to inter level in Pakistan from foreign educational board, university or examination body or foreign education system with three subjects, in which Biology and Chemistry are must. Then these students will be eligible to appear in the entry test to get admission in the MBBS and BDS programs.
