Sindh University HEC Plagiarism Policy 2017

Hyderabad, The syndicate of Sindh University has done the special meeting and they accorded the approval of the plagiarism policy and the rules of the Higher Education Commission on the sexual harassment. The press released has been issued and the Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat presided over the meeting while there were members of the syndicate in the meeting.
The meeting passed the resolution for the implementation of the plagiarism strategy of HEC and under the provision of section 3 of Protection of Women against Harassment at Workplace Act, 2010, the syndicate set up the investigation committee and it is added with three members. It was decided that Dr Sumera Umrani will investigate the harassment cases in which some teachers were found involved. The syndicate adopted the policy guiding principles of the higher education commission against sexual harassment cases in the university.
The syndicate also allowed the VC of the university to establish 10 members hearing panel and also supported the decision of VC to allow the burial of the popular scholar and writer, Muhammad Ibrahim Joyo in premises of Sindh University near mausoleum of Allama I. I Kazi.
