Actually Germany is a federal parliamentary republic in Europe and has 16 states. The capital of the Germany is Berlin which is also the largest city. The country of Germany covers an area of approximately 3, 57,821 kilometers and has climate with largely seasonal temperate. The Germany is the most popular state of the members list with more than 81 million inhabitants and is also considered as the country with largest economy in the European Union.

 

Germany is also one of the major political powers countries from all the European continents and is also considered as the technological leader of Europe in many different fields. Germany is also well known region that is inhabited by many several Germanic peoples that lives in it. In the beginning of the 10th century German territories formed a part of Holy Roman Empire which was empire of the German nation. After the year of 1945, German was divided by different allied occupation and was evolved in to two main states that are known as West Germany and East Germany and was reunified in 1990.

 

In the year 1957, Germany also remains a founding member of the European Community which in the years 1993 became the EU. Germany is also a member of the NATO, United Nations, the G20, the G8, the Council of Europe and also the OECD and for the year 2011-2012, Germany also took non-permanent seat in UN Security Council. Germany is basically a country which is the forth economical country by nominal GDP and is also the sixth largest country for Purchasing Power Parity.

 

This is a country which is well known as the second largest exporter and also the third importer of goods in the world. Germany has actually developed very high standard of living and also a comprehensive system of social security. Germany is also well known in the world because it is the home of many influential scientists and inventors and is also well known for its cultural and political history.
