Actually the country of Malaysia is federal constitutional monarchy of the Southeast Asia. Malaysia is a country which has 13 states and three federal territories and also has a total number of areas of 3, 29,978 Square Kilometer which is separated in to two different regions by the South China Sea which is known as Malaysian Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia. The land borders of Brunei, Thailand, and Indonesia are shared with Malaysia and also the maritime borders that exist with Singapore, Philippines and Vietnam.
The capital city of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur and the Putrajava is actually the seat of the federal government. In the year 2010, the population of Malaysia reaches 27.6 million which is more than the previous year. Actually the state of Peninsular Malaysia which is also known as Malaya was firstly unified as the Malayan Union in the year 1946. In the year 1948, Malaya was restructured as the federation of the Malaya and in August 31 of 1957 achieved independence.
On 16th September of the year 1963, Malaya united with Sabah, Singapore and Sarawak and after that it was given a new country name which is Malaysia. From the time of independence Malaysia is having one of the best economy records in Asia. Actually the economy of the Malaysia is traditionally been fuelled by its natural resources that are unlimited but on the other hand the economy of Malaysia is also expending in the sectors of the science, commerce, tourism and medical tourism.
The head of the Malaysian state is Yang di-Pertuan Agong which is an elected monarch and is chosen from the hereditary rulers that are from the nine states of Malay after every five year. The country of Malaysia is multi-ethnic and also a multi cultural and has many different factors that influence its culture and also play very large role in the politics of Malaysia. Through out the Malaysia Islam is the state religion and the freedom of the state religion is always protected by a secular constitution.
