The ability of the test taker to listen to and read everyday English is measured by the TOEIC L&R test, which is the paper and pencil test. For academic or workplace purposes, to access English language skill levels, this test is used by the Educators and Employers.
In this test two main sections are included, which are as follows:
1) Listening Comprehension:
To the recorded statements, questions, short conversations, and short talks in English through audio cassette or CD, the test takers will have to listen it, and based on what they hear, have to answer 50 questions.
Three parts are included in this section, which are following:
- Part One: Photographs ( consist of 15 questions)
- Part Two: Question-Response (consist of 20 questions)
- Part Three: Short Conversations and Short Talks (consist of 15 questions)
Approximately 25 minutes will take to complete this section.
2) Reading:
Single sentences as well as texts, the test takers will have to read and then based on what they read, have to answer 50 questions.
Two parts are included in this section, which are as follows:
- Part Four: Incomplete sentences (consist of 30 questions)
- Part Five: Reading Comprehension (consist of 20 questions)
Approximately 35 minutes will take to complete this section.
