Aga Khan Board Intermediate Result 2012
The annual results for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) have been announced by the Aga Khan University Examination Board today. The number of students appeared in the exams is 21 percent more than the previous year. The percentage of successful students of HSSC I and II exams of this year is 77.79 and 79.27 percent respectively.
Anum Zehra Raza of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Karimabad, Karachi clinched first position with 91 per cent marks, Hafsa Jawed of Habib Public High School (Girls) Karachi secured second position with 90.82 percent marks and Adil Shah of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Gahkuch, Gilgit-Baltistan stood third with 90.18 percent marks.
AKU-EB conducted a survey recently which depicts that 76 percent of its former graduates were got admitted into the well renowned universities in Pakistan and other foreign universities which is an encouraged figure of students last year. Actually the AKU-EB placed its former graduates internationally in 2011 which shows a considerable increase of 183 percent of students which is almost three times to the figures of 2010. The survey also showed that 145 domestic educational institutions granted admissions to the former graduates of AKU-EB.

It helped me in improving my self-confidence, understanding and the way I try to learn about anything in my environment. I am very grateful to the Board for sharpen my mind and giving me an opportunity to explore the world from a new perspective. AKU-EB is just necessary,” says Raaza Malja who is a bright student and position holder from AKU-EB both in SSC and HSSC and got admission at King Edward Medical College, Lahore.
