AIOU Introduces Online Classes from Jan 08

Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University is providing distant learning in various subjects at different levels from Matric to PhD levels to the students living in far off and less privileged areas of the country.

Now Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi said in the laying foundation stone of ‘Bachelor and foreign faculty hostel’ that they are going to introduce online classes of Computer Sciences in DG Khan and Umerkot from January 08, 2013.

The hostel being constructed in the area has the area of 43000 square feet and has 5 storeys building which will be finished in about 21 months. The estimated cost of the hostel will be Rs.139 million. He stressed on the students for getting more education and they should pay their attention on the education as no nation can get further progress without education.
