AIOU Prisoner Registration

Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University, AIOU has started the registration of over 1000 prisoners so that they can continue their future study so that they can enjoy the reputable life in the society when they released after completing their imprisonment.
The university has also upgraded their facilities in the jails all over the country to provide free education to the prisoners, which is the part of their effort of taking care of the demoted section of society. The candidates can get the prospectus and other material free of cost from the management of jail and it permits them to get admission in the present semester and the admissions are opened till 28 September 2017.
The university has also prepared the detailed process to hold the tutorial meetings, workshops and also conduct the exams in the jail. The vice chancellor of the university visited the jails in Karachi, Lahore and Quetta to enhance the number of the registrations of the prisoners and he discussed the matters with the jail authorities.
