Just now, Australian Awards have started once again and now the participation is also allowed for several Asian countries including students from Pakistan.
Australian Government is sponsoring these awards in which scholarships and fellowships are offered through which the interested and eligible persons can progress in research, professional development and study in Australia.
Australia is already helping Pakistan for purpose of:
- Promoting economic growth
- Poverty reduction
- Women empowerment
- Good governance
- and stability
Benefits
Through these scholarships, Pakistani students can apply for master level degree programs in Australia. They will get following benefits through these awards:
- Full tuition fees
- Return air travel
- Establishment allowance
- Health insurance
- Contribution towards living expenses

- Public Policy Reformers and Leaders
- Civil Society and Development Practitioners

Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility requirements for these awards:
- A Pakistani resident, living in the country for at least 2 years
- Should have Pakistani citizenship
- Minimum 16 years of education completed
- Age up to 45 years
- Have at least five years of relevant work experience.
- Must be able to get foreign affairs or defense sector (subclass 500) visa
