Bakhtawar Cadet College Regular classes start from September 2016

PAF air vice Marshal Salman Bukhari said that Bakhtawar Girls Cadet College (BGCC) is a first of its kind in Pakistan. More than 300 female students will be given admission in the college and classes of first batch will start from September this year. He said while addressing to the Board of Directors of BGCC that Shafiq Ahmed Ansari will be the principal and Shahzad Ahmed Memon will be the admin officer. He also directed to quickly complete the construction work of admin block, 2 hostels and academic block and told that admission forms can be submitted in the PAF offices from around Pakistan. Local students will get 60% quota and other 40% quota is reserved for the students of other parts of Pakistan.

Later, Salman Bukhari and other officers visited the under constructed Girls Cadet College and directed the DC not to allow the construction of any high building at 100 meter around the college and construction of any hotel or commercial building near walls of college. He also ordered to install CCTV cameras and search lights for security of college. The meeting was attended by several civil and PAF officers.
