Basic Type of Living Expenses in Institutions

In Germany international students enjoy the highest standards of life that are provided to internationals students but there are living expenses that students have to manage during their studies. Actually the living expenses in Germany depend on the lifestyle which international students uses and also depends on the city and type of accommodation. Usually the German spends more than 1/3rd of their income towards the rental accommodations. The estimated costs of living in Germany are round about €450 to €500 per month which includes economical and modest living. There are many types of living expenses that include:-

 

  • Rent & Utilities which is approximately €200
  • Private accommodation which is approximately €300
  • Shared flats or students residence around the campuses which is approximately €200
  • Internet & Mobile phone which is approximately €30 in which internet DSL flat rate is €15 and mobile flat rate is €15
  • Health insurance of students which is approximately €60
  • Drinks and food which is approximately €125
  • Some other types of expenditures which are approximately €50

 

You should note one thing that all the above mentioned estimated costs are excluding of the tuition fees, social contributions, semester tickets, traveling, sports, allowances for dinning and any other expenses except mentioned above.
