To address the acute shortage of doctors in Baluchistan, Pakistan, Bolan Medical Collage was established. Baluchistan has over 10,000 people per doctor while Japan has 542 people per doctor.
The college was established by the then Education Minister Mir Gul Khan Nasir, during Ataullah Mengal’s reign as Chief Minister in 1972. It has graduated over 2,900 students till 2003. Japan international Cooperation Agency granted this college 488 million yen in 1995. In 1996, new building was operational.
Bolan Medical College Admissions for MBBS are in process for year 2013. Bolan Medical College 1st, 2nd and 3rd merit list 2013 for MBBS admissions can be viewed here online soon after release.
