BS-17 lecturer jobs announced in Punjab by PPSC
Lahore: More then 2506 lecturer jobs were announced by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). Round about 1456 lecturer jobs posts were fixed for male candidates with having BS-17 and about 1050 posts were reserved for female candidates with BS-17 scale. All these jobs include the quota of 2% for all disabled persons and quota of 5% for those who will be appointed on contract basis for 5 years period in the department of Punjab Higher Education.
There are 1354 post on open merit basis for all males and 29 jobs are fixed for all disabled persons and 73 jobs are fixed for contract basis and the total number of the posts for male candidates is 1456.
Posts on open merit for all females are 976, in which 21 jobs are fixed for disabled female candidates and 53 jobs are fixed for all those females that will be appointed on contract basis, so the total number of posts for female candidates is 1050.
It is must for all the candidates to apply before 5 September 2011 which is the closing date. Candidate has to bring their original certificates of matric, intermediate and graduation and someone with master’s degree will also original certificates with CNIC copy and with application form. All candidates that will appear for an interview will be first examined and verified before taking interviews and under the Punjab Public Service Commission the recruitment will take place.
