Building of new college by Punjab govt. after 36 years

Rawalpindi, The Punjab Government on Tuesday issued Rs. 70 million for the building of a new boys degree college in the Khayaban-i-Sir Syed Rawalpindi which will be the first degree college for boys after 36 years.

Mian Shahbaz Sharif Government Degree College for Boys would be constructed on the area of 18 kanals possessing by the Housing and Physical Planning Department. The plan is to deliver the educational facilities to the students who are experiencing problems in taking admission in their area.

The official name of the college will be Mian Shahbaz Sharif Government Degree College for Boys and if anyone is against the name, it could be changed, Mr. Awan said.
