Chinese Scholarships 2016 Boosted to 600 a Year Under CPEC

China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has attained great success and the analysts say that it will improve the economy of Pakistan and also strengthened the relationships with China. The partnership of CPEC helped Pakistan in different sectors like road establishment, which provides airport equipment and from the construction of Gawadar to establish the taskforce of Pak Navy.

Pakistan’s Attache to China, Naveed Hassan Khan spoke about the education sector and said that the number of scholarships for Pakistani students to China has been increased to 600 a year, which is conferred by the Chinese government. He further added that the scholarships have been enhanced from 200 and remaining 400 scholarships are awarded through different universities opposed to the government.

There are huge number of Pakistani students, which are getting education in China and total 15652 Pakistani students, which are getting education in different Chinese universities. There are total 18 percent of the students, who are funded by the Chinese government. He further added that about 1000 students are being provided the scholarships in China to get education in different universities.

The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan said that it was his great pleasure to learn that the students are getting education in China from over all Pakistan and not from the big cities or from the capital city of Pakistan.

The CPEC scholarship programs opened the gate of opportunity for huge number of students and they are getting education in different fields. Pakistani students are getting education in following field on scholarship and self financed base:

Computer Science and Technology.
Broadcasting Communication.
Business Administration.
Finance.
Chemistry.
Architecture.
Biology.
International Law.
Journalism.
Civil Engineering.

Pakistani attaché further added that the students are getting education at bachelor, master and PhD programs and in various other advanced training programs.
