COMSATS Virtual Campus Announces Spring Admissions 2013

Islamabad, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Virtual campus is going to start its admission process for Spring admissions 2013for grant of admission in Bachelor and master level programs. The administration of the institute instructed the candidates to collect admission forms from the main office of the institute and after completing them submit the same in the same office till January 15, 2013.

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology was established in April 1998 in Islamabad with the objective to spread information technology education to the students through well esteemed and peaceful environment in highly competitive manner. The education being imparted in the institute is of high standard and according to the international level which makes the students to contest with the world level institute at very affordable rate of fee.

This institution showed very healthy results in the beginning then government decided to upgrade it with the promulgation of its charter and granted it the status of degree awarding institute in August 2000. The higher education being provided in the country is only 5% which is very low comparing to Bangladesh with 7%, India with 13%, Malaysia 29%, Great Britain with 59% and America with 82% and Finland with 94%. The government of Pakistan along with provincial governments is working strenuously for the improvement of higher education in the country.

There are a huge number of schools and colleges in the country from where millions of students pass their secondary and higher secondary education every year but they cannot get further education due to acute shortage of universities or other higher learning institutes in the government sector. The universities in the private sector charges high fees which the students of middle or lower cannot afford and in this way they cannot carry on their education. It is dire need of the hour to set up various universities in different parts of the country which enable the students to get further higher education.

Now this institute has established its various campuses in different cities of the country in order to start education process in a unique and latest manner. this institute is also governed by unique learning approach extended to its students.

this institute has also establish its own virtual campus which provides educational facilities to the students who are facing shortage of time, financial problems or doing job with getting education as well.
