CSS 2013 Allocation

After the announcement of the result of CSS 2013 exams, the candidates are selected and they are recruited in the government service. Then they will be sent for nine months training and civil service. After the accomplishment of elementary training, the recruited candidates are sent for their departmental training and the departmental training takes two years to complete. After completion of the departmental training, the candidates were appointed in the grade 17 as officer.

The government allows different promotional allocations for the officers from grade 17 to 21. When the officer spends five years at the position of grade 17 and shows performance on his seats then he can be promoted to the next grade of 18. When the officer spends seven years on grade 18 then he can be promoted to the grade 19. For promotion to the grade 20, the officer has to complete compulsory training at National Institute of Public Administration at Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar. For further promotion to the grade of 21, the officer has to complete the training of five months at Administrative Staff College Lahore. The civil officers are likely to promote to the grade on 22 on their turn as no training is required there.
