Daoud University Won First Position in Robotic Competition

Karachi, Daoud University of Engineering and Technology got the first position in the project exhibition and competition of SPEC. the competition was conducted in the Electronic Engineering Technology department of NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi. In this competition, total 60 universities participated in which Daoud University, FAST University, Sir Syed University, PAF (CAT), NED University, Indus University, Aligarh University, Mehran University, DHA SOFA University and many more. The teams of all universities presented their projects in different categories. In the Robomese category, the ‘Electronic 15’ team of Electronic Engineering department of Daoud University got the first position in the competition. The team members are included with Jawad Gillani, Sheikh Ahmed Qureshi, Sajjad Haider, Hassan Akbar, Tariq Khoso, and Abdul Rehman. The robot of this team covered the distance of maize in just 35 seconds while the robot of second position team covered this distance in 44 seconds. Furthermore, in the robomese category, ‘Electronic 15’ team of Daoud University won the award of best design team.
