Five Pakistani Scholars Award Cambridge Scholarships

Islamabad, Five Pakistani scholars have been awarded with the scholarship for studying at Cambridge University UK. The scholars have been granted scholarship for doing their research in various disciplines.

These scholarship schemes will help us in strengthening our relationships and developing our understanding. The research work carried out with the help of each other enhances the scope of better and useful research work in various field and both nations can take advantage of the abilities and talents of each other.

Higher Education Commission of Pakistan held a send-off ceremony in which Deputy Chairman Planning Commission, Dr Nadeem ul Haq gave away various certificates. He, after the ceremony, hoped that Government of Pakistan will help the HEC to carry out their mission and projects in various fields to provide opportunities for getting higher education. These scholarships support a lot of candidates who are talented but due to lack of funds, they cannot continue their further studies and research work which resulted into less outcome of research scholars.

Prof Dr. Sohail H Naqvi who is the Executive Director at HEC hoped that as Cambridge University has announced for the provision of five scholarships to Pakistani research scholars every year, will help us to provide facilities to our talented research scholars for getting further education in the Universities of UK. The subjects which will be undertaken during these research activities will help to solve various problems encounter our country.
