FJMU Degree HEC Verification

Lahore, Fatima Jinnah Medical University offered admission to candidates in the MBBS classes and the students studied for last five years. Now the candidates have passed their final professional MBBS class annual exams. But the administration of the university refused to issue degrees to the students for MBBS class with the plea that HEC refused to verify their MBBS class degrees. Higher Education Commission stated that Fatima Jinnah Medical College is not part of Fatima Jinnah Medical University and the degrees of the FJMC cannot be verified.
The aspirants filed a case in the Lahore High Court with the plea that they completed their education and after passing their final professional MBBS exams, the university administration refused to issue the degrees to the students and they were told that they cannot do the house job. The LHC heard the case and they issued orders to the HEC to verify the degrees of the students of FJMU within two weeks and the court disposed off the case.
