The country of Norway is the best country for study purposes in the world and is located in the Northern Europe on the northern and western parts of the Scandinavian Peninsula. Norway also has border with the North Sea in the southwest and Skagerrak in its south and the North Atlantic Ocean which is the Norwegian Sea and is in the west and also the Barents Sea to its northwest. Norway has very long border with the Sweden to the east side and a shorter border with Finland in the northeast and also shorter border with the Russia in its northeast side.

The total area of Norway is 324,220 square kilometers, the land area is 307,860 square kilometers and the water is 16,360 square kilometers.

Norway is a country which has land boundaries with Finland, Russia and Sweden. The total land boundary of Norway is 2,542 kilometers in which 727 kilometer land area with Finland, 196 kilometer land area with Russia and 1619 kilometer land area with Sweden.

The total coastline of Norway is 25,148 kilometers that includes 2,650 kilometer as its mainland and also include long fjords, minor indentations and Small Island that are 22,498 kilometers and the length of their island coastlines are 58,133 kilometers.

The territorial sea of Norway is 12 nm; the contiguous zone is 10 nm; exclusive economic zones of Norway are 200nm and continental shelf is 200 nm.

The climate of Norway is temperate along with its coasts and colder interior with having increased precipitation and has colder summers and has rainy season for the complete year on its west coast.

Terrain of Norway:

The terrain of Norway are actually mostly high plateaus with rough mountains that are broken by the fertile valleys, coastline deeply which is indented by the fjords, small scattered plains and arctic tundra in its north.

Elevation Extremes of Norway:

The elevation extremes includes lowest point of the Norwegian Sea which 0 m sea level and highest point is Galdhospiggen which is 2,469m.

Natural Resources of Norway:

In the natural resources of Norway there are many things that are included that are natural gas, zinc, petroleum, lead, iron ore, pyrites, copper, titanium, timber, nickel, hydropower and fish.

The used land of Norway includes arable land which is 2.87%, permanent crops which is 0%. The land of Norway is also used for many other purposes as well and the land used is 97.13%.

The irrigated land of Norway is around 1,270 square kilometers from the total.
