Actually New Zealand is a country of constitutional monarchy because of Parliamentary democracy. The queen of the New Zealand is Queen Elizabeth II and is also the head of the state. Actually the Queen is represented by the Governor General of New Zealand. The Governor General is the responsible person for making appointments of the cabinet ministers, key public officials and also with ambassadors. The powers of the Governor General and the Queen are limited by constitutional constraints and cannot exercise with out the advice of the Cabinet.

 

The parliament of the New Zealand holds different legislative powers that consist of House of Representatives and Sovereignty. Actually the House of Representatives are house of democratic elected and the government in New Zealand is formed from the party or from the coalition and the one who has majority of seats. When ever no majority is formed then the minority government can be formed on temporary bases after the support of other parties in the favor of that party.

 

In New Zealand the officers on the seat of Judge or Judicial are always appointed non-politically and are appointed under very strict rules. In this way they allow judge or judicial officers to interpret the law solely. The country’s final appeal court is the court of Privy Council which was in London until the year 2004 and after this year; it was replaced with the Supreme Court of New Zealand.
