HEC PhD Scholarship Deadline Extended

Islamabad, Higher Education Commission provides the scholarships to the candidates for their PhD degree and they ask the application forms from the candidates. Now HEC has extended the deadline for the submission of the application forms to apply for the PhD scholarships till 10 July 2017.
As there were the holidays for eid and the offices remained closed so HEC decided to extended the last date till 10 July so that the eligible candidates can send their application forms for grant of scholarship. the candidates, who live in the remote areas and they do not have enough internet facility, they can avail this facility and PhD scholarships will be granted to the students in the agriculture, engineering and technology, business education, management sciences, physical sciences, social sciences and medical sciences.
The candidates must have passed the MS or MPhil degree or minimum 18 years of education in the relevant field of study and they have completed minimum 50% marks in the HEC aptitude test to qualify for this grant. When the academic record of the candidates will be shortlisted, the aptitude test score will also be considered and the candidates will be called for an interview of the relevant state for grant of scholarship.
The receiving candidates will sign the written agreement with commission to serve Pakistan in the higher education institutes for minimum 5 years after completing their studies.
