HEC receives Applications Tech & Development Fund

HEC has started a Technology Development fund to run several such projects that requires resources in order to look after and enhance socio-economic development and private enterprise.
Which Projects Will Qualify?
The Technology Development Fund will be used to fund those projects that produce positive impact on society by solving problems through utilizing raw products of the area. It can also help to boost the economy by creating jobs for people or creating business.In this aspect, there are several projects to be used in these areas including:
- Information and Technology/Computers (applications in government, services, health, textile, agriculture, dairy etc.)
- Micro-electronics
- Biotechnology (in government, health etc.)
- Material Sciences/Manmade Material
- Telecommunication
- Robotics
- It could also be of “any other discipline helpful to achieved the products developed in the above areas.”
Apart from that, a joint academia-industry partnership has to be used for these projects.

You can download the application forms from the official site of HEC.
Following is the address that should be used to send application to HEC. The application must be sent through the Office of Research Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC).
