IFR Merit Based Scholarships 2015

The candidates attending IFR programs can now attain merit based scholarships from the Institute for Field Research. $2500 is the worth of each merit based scholarship. These IFR scholarships will be given only as IFR field school tuition reduction and the candidates will not be given any cash. The candidate must have graduated during the past five years or be the present students of any institute of higher learning (university, community college etc.) anywhere in the world.

Deadline:

28^th March 2015 is the last date to submit application forms for these scholarships.

Fields of study:

The students of archaeology and other fields can be benefitted from these scholarships.

Course Level:

The candidates who are attending IFR programs can attain these scholarships.

Provider of scholarship:

Scholarships will be provided by the Institute for Field Research, USA.

The place to take scholarships is IFR Field Schools (international).

Criteria:

any such candidate whose application is accepted by any of the IFR field schools.
at the start of the day of field school, the candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
3.5 GPA is the minimum requirement (grade average of 85%).
there should be name of two persons who will send recommendation letter to the IFR on the behalf of candidate.
anywhere in the world, the candidate must have graduated from any institute of higher education (university, community college etc) in the past 5 years or currently studying in any such institute.
students from any country can apply for these scholarships.
candidates from any major subject are eligible to apply and archaeology or its related subject as the major subject is not compulsory.
candidate must present the unofficial copy of transcript with his/ her present grade average or GPA.

Selection Criteria:

Previous academic record of candidate will be given importance before giving the scholarship.

Notification:

18^th April 2015 is the date for notification of successful candidates.
