ILO Introduce Competency Based Training Programs

Karachi, Training based on competency and assessment program is going to be started in the province with the help of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in coordination with Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA).

Addressing at the inaugurating ceremony of the workshop, Farida Khan, National Project Coordinator, Gender Equality for Decent Employment (GEDE) said that 30 capable trainers belonging to various technical and vocational educations and training institutions of Sindh will be given training based on modern procedure of competency and assessment (CBTA).

The workshop will be funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) with the objective to enhance the expertise of technical trainers for designing, delivering and judging the CBTA training programs.

This workshop will comprise of five days training program to extend developing skills, facts and means to get ready for carrying out CBTA, consisting of learning and training procedures and material of assessment.
