Indus University Offers Scholarships to Children of Victims of Karachi fire

Islamabad, Chancellor Indus University has announced that their university will compensate the children of victims of garment factory in Karachi, by providing them scholarship so that they can continue their education. The large number of social and political leaders appreciated the efforts of Indus University.

Prime Minister of Pakistan also appreciated the deeds of Indus University as well as encouraged their support to the family of victims. A garment factory located in the main city of Karachi was burnt to ashes by the terrible fire incident a few days ago in which about 260 people burnt alive. Their families and children are now facing difficulties in meeting their daily expenses. The children of the victims are now facing problems to carry on their education.

The Prime Minister also said that it is the best way to compensate the families of the bereaved by awarding scholarships to the children of the deceased. He also announced that government of Pakistan will support to the families of the deceased in Lahore show factory accident. He declared that the children of the deceased will also be awarded scholarships to carry on their education and nothing can topple their education. He also distributed cheques among victim’s families at the Governor House Lahore. The cheques being distributed among the deceased families were amounted to Rs.4,00,000 each and the cheques for the injured person during this fire incidents were amounted to Rs.1,00,000 each.
