Japanese Scholarships to Pak Students
Islamabad, The Japanese scholarships are granted to 15 Pakistani students to get education in the Japanese universities and higher learning institutes. The students left for Japan after getting the Japanese scholarships and the students were given the orientation at the Japanese embassy.
The Japanese government sponsored these scholarships to the Pakistani students including MEXT Research Scholarship 2017(two to five years until their research is completed), Young Leader’s program (0ne year), MEXT Teachers Training Scholarship program (18 months) and Japanese Language Training Program for Foreign Service Offices (only 8 months).
One male teacher has been selected for the teacher training program and 2 male government officials were selected for Young Leader Program. One female diplomat from Ministry of Foreign Affairs is selected for the Diplomat Training Program. There are 11 candidates from all over Pakistan got the MEXT Research scholarship through varsity endorsements. The Japanese embassy granted MEXT Research Scholarships 2017 to the 7 Pakistani students and they got admission in the respective universities in Japan.
