KPK Students Award Free Laptop Scheme 2012
Peshawar, the KPK government has announced that their government has decided to award laptops to the 25,000 brilliant and talented students of the province in order to recognize their capabilities. This decision was made in a meeting in the Chief Minister of the province which was presided over by the Chief Minister in which they stated that this scheme is functioning in Punjab successfully and they honoured the students with this precious gift to the students.
The KPK government has announced that they will award this gift of Laptop to the students during last week of December. The first session of laptop distribution will be started from BS 4 years students and the medical and engineering students to encourages their abilities and hard working during their academic year and showed brilliant performance in their annual exams. The CM also announced that the 2% quota has also been reserved for the disabled students of these faculties. The students who are studying in the master programs in all public or private educational institutions are not included in the scheme.
The government named this elegant scheme as ‘Naway Sahar scheme’ for which the provincial government has allocated fund of 1 billion rupees for this outstanding project and 25,000 students will get benefit from this scheme. If the price of the laptop is less than 40,000 then the number of laptops will be increased to give benefits to more students.
