KU Launches Local Govt and Administration Diploma Program

Karachi, Karachi University is going to initiate the diploma program in the local government and administration in the department of Political Science. The University organized the inauguration ceremony for the initiation of this diploma program in which the chief guest was the Commissioner of Karachi, Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi.
The chief guest said in the inauguration ceremony that with the launch of the diploma program in Local government and administration, the students can get information about the responsibilities of the government and about the relationship of the government with the public. The University would give gold medal to the position holders. Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Muhammad Qaisar said that with the introduction of the diploma course, the students can get education in this program which is initiated after 12 years and it will provide the skilled and talents professional people to the local government and help them to solve their problems. It was also announced that the PhD and Master level programs in the same program.
