Malaysia Student Visa Documents


The government of Malaysia does not allow any type of student visa stamping out side their country that is the reason the students have to travel to Malaysia on tourist visa. Students when arrive to Immigration Check point of Malaysian airport on tourist visa will then issue student pass or visa. Usually students are provided student confirmation letter to show at the immigration department check point in Malaysian airport. On the students passport the immigration department place a sticker which is for their entry pass. Then the representative of the university or institute takes your passport to the immigration office so to stamp student pass on student’s passport. Actually the university authority is responsible for the stamping of student visa.

All those international students who wish to study in Malaysian institutes must need a student pass. After that the application of the student is than submitted to the Immigration Department by the Malaysian institute which processes the application and also approves and issue visa. Normally the approval for student pass takes round about 21 working days from the date of the submission of the application.
