MCAT Test Application Process and Eligibility Criteria

UHS Lahore declares the MCAT test schedule generally in August or September every year and as well asks the applicants to present their applications. At the government medical colleges of Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi as well as Rahim Yar Khan just after the inter examinations the application forms for MCAT test can be presented. Every years in different cities of Pakistan the MCAT test conducts while the applicants need to present their application forms in the below cities.

o   If an applicant prefers to participate from Lahore, Sahiwal, Gujarat, Gujranwala or Sargodha then he/she have to submit his/her application form in UHS Lahore.

o   In Nishtar Medical College, Multan students from Multan and D.G. Khan can submit their forms.

o   The Hasan Abdal Rawalpindi students can present their application forms in Rawalpindi Medical College.

o   The Bahawalpur students can present their forms in Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur.

o   Students from Rahim Yar Khan can submit their forms in Sheikh Zyed Medical College, Rahim Yar Khan.

o   Faisalabad students can present their forms in Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad.

MCAT Test Fee

To participating in the MCAT test is free of cost. The particular medical universities prepared this test without any fee charges. However the students can take admission forms from particular medical colleges and universities following depositing Rs. 700/-

General Instructions to apply for MCAT test

Students can present their application forms on the due date at the same centre from where they get the application form.

Including with application forms the students have to bring the below documents

o   Attested photocopy of Matriculation or SSC or equivalent exam Certificate

o   Attested photocopy of HSSC or FSc (Pre-medical) or equivalent exam Certificate

o   If student’s date of birth is not written on Matriculation certificate then the they can present an attested photocopy of Birth Certificate provided by the Union Council.

o   Paste 2 colored photographs (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm) on the 2 cards.

o   One A-4 size envelope including with Rs 40/- postage stamps

o   4 recent colored photographs (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) of the students. One is going to be attached on the application form and attested on the front as well the other 3 should be attested from the back·

o   An attested photocopy of domicile certificate of the students

o   If the applicant is Hafiz-e-Quran then he must submit the certificate from registered Madrassa

Eligibility criteria for MCAT test

o   FSC (Pre-Medical) Part II student is capable to apply for MCAT test

o   F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) Part I Marks sheet attested by the Head of his/her institute; Certificate issued by the Head of  Institute where he/she has got education certifying that he or she has showed up in F.Sc Part II papers or related.

o   F.Sc Pre-Medical Group or Equivalent Examination, minimum 60% (660/1100) marks (without marks of Hifz).

o   A-Level students or American 12th Grade students have to present the Certificate issued by Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

o   Residence holders of Punjab and Federal Capital Area (Islamabad), Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Province of Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Area) are entitled to apply for the MCAT test without domicile they are not going to be allowed to take part in exam.

o   There is no age limit to participate in MCAT test.
