Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) is one of the high caliber research and education institute. It is private university which has been established in 1998 after granting the charter buy the Government of Sindh to pay tribute to the great leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The main campus of the University is in Karachi and other campuses are located at Islamabad. MAJU has enjoyed the status of comprehensive university, part of a group of Punjab Universities and Colleges. Presently former Vice Chancellor of Karachi University, Dr. Abdul Wahab is the president of the university. This university enjoys the higher status among educational institutes which has been awarded by Higher Education Commission.

Study Departments of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University

Mohammad Ali Jinnah University has various departments including computer science, electronics, engineering and biological sciences at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Business Administration and Social Sciences. There are also departments of business administration, economics and social sciences.

Additionally the university has purely academic programs and also operates training programs, seminars and workshops. The university also started doctoral programs in computer science, electrical engineering, and management science.
