NTC to Start Technical Training Academy

Minister of State for IT and Telecom directed the NTC to develop the state of the art, ‘Technical Training Academy’, which will provide education and knowledge to the young telecom graduates so that they employability potential can be enhanced. She was chairing the meeting of NTC Management Board at the HQ of NTC.
The MD NTC, Viqar Rashid Khan and Special Secretary Finance, Dr Shujat Ali were present in this meeting and there are some special invitees, which are Joint Secretary (Development) and Joint Secretary (Admin) MoITT.
During the meeting, the MD NTC informed the board about the NTC to make the phenomenal growth during last 3 years during this government and it has expanded its infrastructure all over the country. The NTC has made remarkable progress in broadband sphere and NTC has totally reinvented and transformed itself. It has installed the excellent exchanges and it is increase the consumer base and it earned the net profit of Rs.257 million, which it showed the record performance in its public sector.
MD NTC said that NTC has developed its first cloud based National Data Center with the tremendous efforts to provide secure environment to the government bodies to host their data and its applications.
