Omissions of Islamic Chapters and Poems in new Matric Urdu Book

Islamabad, New and revised edition of Urdu book for matric classes has come in the market. This book contains various new additions of chapters and poems. which has been printed in February 2013 and now available for the students of new class.

In the revised edition of Urdu book for matric class, various old chapters on Islamic topics and poems have been omitted and new chapter have been introduced in it. The old chapters like ‘Ideology of Pakistan’ which gives the true meaning for the foundation of Pakistan, ‘Eisar’ by the greatest Muslim novelist Deputy Nazir Ahmed, ‘Fatima Binnat Abdullah’ written by Mirza Adeeb excluded in the new edition of the Urdu book. The great chapter on ‘Hazrat Umar – the Great Administrator’ is also excluded from the new book. Instead, common and uninterested chapters like ‘Mirza Muhammad Saeed’ by Shahid Ahmed Dehlvi and ‘Princess of paristaan’, which is a useless topic, have been added in the new edition. It is not understood that what kind of moral lesson is hidden in the ‘Princess of Paristaan’.

Various notable poems like ‘Mohsan-e-Insaniyat’ (PBUH) by Mahir ul Qadri, ‘Rabb-e-Kainat’ of Moulana Altaf Hussain Hali, ‘Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique (RA)’, ‘Shaan-e-Taqwa’, and ‘Tulu-e-Islam’ written Allama Iqbal are also excluded from this book.

Two other great chapters written by great writers like ‘Mahroom-e-Virasat’ by Allama Rashid ul Khairi and ‘Safar kamyabi ki kunji’ written by Moulana Abdul Haleem Sharar were also excluded from the new and revised edition of the Urdu book for 10th class.
