Over 35,000 Students Appear in Matric Exams

Gujranwala, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala has announced that the board has introduced new syllabus for 9th class students which is considered to be more difficult than before.

According to the Education department, there are various students who are weak in their studies and study in the 9th class for two years. Then they were appeared in the matriculation exams. The students who qualified in the 9th class last year and promoted to the new class, now they will be appeared in the matric exams.

The Education department has said that about 3,71,000 candidates were appeared in the matric exams last year and now about 4,00,000 candidates are going to appear in the exams. They have already submitted their admission forms. The board sources has also confirmed that all the government school students submit their admission forms freely but the private candidates and candidates of private educational institutes have to deposit fee of Rs.650 for 9th and 10th classes and registration fee of Rs.900.
