Pakistani 6 Universities in Top 800 universities of the World

The list of the top 800 universities is declared in the world rankings in 2015/16 as Quacquarelli Symonds publishes this ranking. There are about 800 universities of the world in which 6 Pakistani universities are also included. These Pak universities are ranked below to 500 but it is encouraging that some of the universities are performing well and they are improving their grading than the previous years. The ranking of some universities fell, which is not good sign for these universities.
1) National University of Sciences And Technology (NUST) Islamabad
National University of Science and Technology Islamabad is at the 501 rank and its previous rank is 401, which was given to it in 2012. It is present at 119 rank in the rankings of Asian Universities and it is featured at 398 ranking by faculty but 251 by the subject.
2) Quaid-e-Azam University
Quaid-e-Azam University is present at 651 rank in the world and it is also placed at 116 in the list of Asian University. It was also placed at 151 in rank in the list of subjects.
3) Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)
Lahore University of Management Sciences is present at 701 rank and its previous rank was 601 in 2012. It is also at 161 rank in the list of Asian University ranking. This university was at 191 in 2013 and 181 in 2014 and now it has significantly improved its position.
4) University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore
University of Engineering and Technology Lahore is the leading university of Pakistan and it is present at 701 in the world ranking. It was present at 601 rank in 2012 and lost its position in 2013 and reached to 701. It is still present at this position from 2013 and now it is present at 251 in the ranking of Asian universities.
5) University of Karachi
University of Karachi was declared at the rank of 701 in 2013 and it is still present at that position. It is present at the 251 position in the Asian University rankings.
6) The University of Lahore
The University of Lahore is present at 701 and it is still improving its ranking.
In the ranking of the world top 800 universities, 14 Indian universities are also included. In these universities, two universities are included in top 200 universities for the first time. The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi are present at 147 and 179 ranks respectively. The top seven Indian universities from 14 universities are present in top 400 universities.
