Pakistani Position Holders Arrived Scotland

Lahore, Pakistani position holders who are visiting European countries, have reached Scotland where they visited University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde.

According to a DGPR handout released on Sunday, the students were welcomed warmly by the administration when they reached University of Glasgow. Senior professors helped them conversant about the subjects being imparted at the university and teaching methods also.

In the second phase of their visit, the students went to University of Strathclyde. The in-charge of international office of the university gave a warm welcome to the students and shared most valuable knowledge about the university.

Later, Pakistani community in Glasgow arranged a reception in the honour of Pakistani top position-holders. Certain leaders of Pakistani community expressed their views and appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister of Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for sending the talented but top position holders on a visit to Europe which will encourage many other students to get education and win top positions.

Punjab government has made arrangements for this educational and informative tour of various International universities where students saw the method of teaching, their commitments with the education and their behavior towards education and knowledge.

The purpose of the tour is to provide the students the vision about educational system of European countries, let them know the latest technologies and provide self confidence and encouragement among the students.
