500 Graduates Award Degree at Peshawar University Convocation 2012

Peshawar, A degree awarding convocation was organized by the Peshawar University to award degrees of different disciplines to about 500 graduates. Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was chief guest on the occasion.

According to the details issued later on, total 481 graduates of Peshawar University including 11 MPhil and 10 PhD were awarding degrees in the Peshawar University convocation 2012 for the session 2010. Total 31 students including 19 boys and 12 girls were awarded with gold medals in different disciplines.

The chief guest Governor of PKP said while addressing with the convocation that the educated students can bring a positive and healthy revolution in the country for spreading peace, harmony and stability throughout the region. We want Pakistan which can run on the ideologies of Quaid-e-Azam and every child of this country must have facilities of free education, health and other necessities of life. Islam is a progressive and peaceful religion which guides us in every field of life and we can make progress by understanding the teachings of life.

The military and law enforcement agencies are doing their duties by sacrificing their lives for the defense of the country and ensuring the strong and healthy defense of the country. Now it is the duty of the next and upcoming generation to get education and make them able to work for the betterment and development of the country.
