PIEAS Starts Undergraduate Admissions 2013 & Issue Form Schedule

Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences has started admission schedule for the undergraduate programs for the year 2013. Now the candidates can submit their admission forms with normal fee till May 06, 2013 in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering programs.

The applications forms for admission are available on the website of the institute and the candidates can download these admission forms from there and submit their admission forms duly completed to the Registrar office of the Institute with online submission fee of Rs.1000 and they will have to pay Rs.1500 for the submission through post. The candidates, who want to submit the forms through registered should attach documents of their academic career and attest copy of their photograph within due date. The candidates should deposit fee of processing in the account of PIEAS in the online account number 0010002084620041 entitled PIEAS-APF, Allied Bank Limited, Cabinet Division Branch, Islamabad. The admission test of the eligible candidates will be conducted in all major cities of the country on June 16, 2013.

The candidates must have secured 60% marks in Matric or O level (Science)/Intermediate or A-level Pre-Engineering. The candidates who have done Intermediate with Pre-Medical but they get Mathematics as additional subject, they are also eligible to apply for admission. Diploma holders are not eligible for admission.

The selection criteria settled by the University, the marks of entry test will be counted as 60%, matric 15%, Intermediate 25% or O-Level/A-Level is 40% or equivalent from IBCC. The admissions will also be granted on the basis of SAT score like SAT-II result of three subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics level-II along with minimum 2000 scores. The candidates should send the SAT scores to the Registrar of PIEAS till June 30, 2013.
