Promotion of Science Education by establishing Science Club by AIOU

To involve and encourage youth for the promotion of science and technology in the country, a science club will be established declared by the Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Professor Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi, on Wednesday, in Islamabad.
On the countrywide basis, under the name of “Science for the Society,” the club will work. The club will be supervised by the Chairperson of Department of Chemistry, Professor Dr. Naghmana Rashid of AIOU. At the concluding ceremony of the 3-day national science fair, while speaking he made the announcement, the fair was organized by the Intel Pakistan.
Projects that could be useful for resolving issues, being faced by the under-privilege sections of the people especially those living in the rural areas, given by the students of AIOU and other educational institutions will be invited under this scheme.
