PU Admission BS Degree “Molecular Biology & Forensic Sciences”

Lahore, University of the Punjab has announced the Board of Faculty of Life Sciences is going to start the study in 4 years BS degree programs in the ‘Molecular Biology and Forensic Sciences’. This degree programs will be started at the Center of Applied Molecular Biology and the admission in this discipline will be started very soon. Chairmanship of Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences, Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan has called the meeting of Board of Faculty of Life Sciences and in this meeting, various other learned scholars like Prof Dr Firdous-e-Bareen, Prof Dr Shahid Kamal, Dr Tayyab Husnain, Prof Dr Javed iqbal Qazi, Dr Mahjabeen Saleem, Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar, Dr Shakeel, Prof Dr Saleem Haider, Dr Idrees Khan, Prof Dr Anjum Naseem Sabri and other were also present in this meeting.

Prof Dr Naeem Khan said that the 4 year degree program was started to give education to the students and this program will help them to tackle the issues, which are caused by terrorism and modern techniques. The knowledge of the forensic science will make them able to investigate different cases. The degree program will help the students to identify the criminal, who are involved in the heinous crimes. This department will also give the benefit to the health and agriculture sectors and it will give benefit to them to design the program on modern lines.
