Lahore, Punjab University has started the admission process in the disciplines including MS, MSc (Engg/Hons), MPhil & PhD Fall semester for 2014. The candidates, who want to get admission in these disciplines, they are advised to send their admission forms, which they can get from the concerned department, institute, center, college or school from 04 August 2014. The candidates can send their admission forms duly completed in the respective department, school, college, center or institute till August 18, 2014.

The entry test of the eligible students will be carried on 04 September and the interview of the successful candidates will be held from 05 September to 12 September 2014. The general and first merit list will be displayed on 15 September 2014 and the last date for the deposit of the admission fee will be 17 September. The University of the Punjab will display the second merit list on 18 September and the last date for the deposit of the fee will be 22 September. The admission of the students will be closed on 26 September 2014.

The candidates, who want to get admission in the MS, MSc (Engg/Hons) and MPhil programs, they must have passed the MA/MSc, BSc (Hons), BSc (Engg) for 4 years or the equivalent degree in the relevant subjects or the disciplines from any HEC recognized university or institute, with at least 16 years of education or 130 credit hours according to the rules of the Higher Education Commission.

The candidates, who want to get admission in the PhD class, they must have passed the MS/MPhil, MSc (Hons/Engg) or equivalent degree with the minimum CGPA 3.0 or first division as per rules of HEC. The eligibility of the subjects will be determined by the respective department, college, school, institute or the centers and the admission will be granted after their verdict. PU will also award the indigenous scholarships to the students under the rules of HEC.
