Scholarships awarded to KPK and FATA students by the USAID
United States Agency for International Development told that a total of 5 students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas will be getting educational scholarships. Adding to the above mentioned information, the scholarship is for those who are shooked by the disaster in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
It is believed that a total of 1000 educational scholarships will be awarded to those students and this is expected to continue for coming three years.
There are over 15000 families living in that region since 2003 in which a majority is widowed women and bereaved childrens as well. The advantages associated with the Conflict Support Programme by the USAID are a fund totaling 25 million dollar to the students, workers, families and for the suffering people. Other benefits are also provided for the student besides educational scholarships.
