Karachi, The meeting of the vice chancellors of all universities and principals of colleges have been conducted, which is headed by Secretary Health of Sindh. In this meeting, the uniform policy for admission in the government medical universities and colleges for the year 2015-16 has been set up. In the meeting, it has been decided that the admission in the MBBS classes will be started from October in all universities and colleges across Sindh. According to this uniform policy, the admission test of the students will be conducted in all universities and medical colleges at the same time.
National Testing Service will conduct the entry test at 5 different places in the whole province including Karachi. There are about 1800 seats for the medical students and the students will be granted admission. In the meeting, it is also considered that 10% fee should be increased but the decision in increase of admission fee is not finalized. Khairpur Medical College, which is given the name of Chief Minister Sindh and admissions will be granted to the students on 100 seats. In this meeting, vice chancellors of universities and principals of medical colleges were present.
