Stipend Certificates received by over 35 Position Holders

On Tuesday, at the Government Boys High School No 1 in Fatehjang, more than 35 position holders of various classes received Rs 150,000 amounted Stipend Certificate.

The Punjab Education Endowment Fund, which was established by the Chief Minister of Punjab, in order to help poor students, approved the amount. At the occasion, Ch. Sher Ali Khan, the Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PP-17, was the chief guest.

According to him, with initial money of Rs 10 billion, the Punjab Education Endowment Fund was established, in order to help the needy people. The Stipend Certificates, according to Ch. Sher Ali Khan, will be given to those bright students as financial assistance, who due to poverty are not able to continue their studies. For the construction of School, government development funds will be provided, as said by the Ch. Sher Ali Khan.

According to Ch. Sher Ali Khan, for the construction of building of male and female district education officers, a grant will be provided in the Fatehjang.
